As temperatures rise, you may start noticing early spring weeds popping up in your lawn. Lesser Celandine is one of the first to appear, with its waxy leaves and low-growing, spreading habit. Other common spring weeds include chickweed, henbit, hairy bittercress, and wild violets.
These weeds thrive in cool, damp conditions and take advantage of thin or stressed lawns before grass fully wakes up. Most will disappear as the weather warms, but for now, you’ll likely see them making an early-season appearance!
Have you spotted any of these in your yard?
